Hello Everyone.

I haven't written in a long time because we had a lot of things going on. But it's March break and I have some time so here I am.

We lost our doggie, Molly, in october because she had Lymphosarcoma. Mommy said there was nothing anyone could do to save her. I was very sad, but Mommy said we'll see Molly again one day in Heaven.

Nellie is 15 years old now and still doing well. Mommy says she's a real miracle dog.

Then at the end of October we got a new puppy. A little Golden Doodle named Maggie McDoodle. She's so much fun and growing so fast. Mommy and her are in level II in obedience school.

Oh and in September Mommy started driving the wheelchair school bus that I ride to school. Because Daddy was away for a while. So now I get to go along with Mommy on her morning route. It took a while to get used to getting up so early, but I love the ride, and being with my Mom.

I have been doing well, my seizures aren't too bad right now. I'm in grade 6 this year and love school still. My ABA therapy has ended after four years but Mommy learned how to do it and she makes me practise all the time. Mommy says she wants me to be the best that I can be.

Well that's all for now, Mommy says we have to go shopping now.

Not much is new, it's was a rainy cold Saturday. Daddy was doing the taxes so Mommy and I went to Walmart to get Olive some parrot food and then to the Feed store to get the dogs some dog food.

Hopefully tomorrow is nice so we can play outside.

Hello Everyone,

I haven't written for a while because the whole back of the house was under construction, a lot going on around here.

But it's almost done and looks really nice. It's still really cold here, 5c today but they say that it should be warmer on the weekend.

I can't wait until it is warm enough to open the pool.

Hello Everyone,

I haven't been on for a while, Mommy and Daddy are busy renovating the whole back of the house and things are a little upside down around here.

We finally have a little bit of snow, Mommy and Daddy say that when they were kids they had a lot more snow in the winter. I would have like it then. Nellie, Molly and I were playing on Sunday and I have attached a few pictures.

Well the last time I wrote, it had just snowed and I was so excited. But by the next day it was all gone, it's been really warm every day since.

My Birthday Party was a lot of fun, I got a lot of really nice presents and some money too. Daddy's family was here, Nonna, all of my Aunts and Uncles, a couple cousins, and some of Mommy's family came too, Grandma Emma and Grandpa Rocco, Auntie Diane, Uncle John, Uncle Boo, Auntie Carolyn and Uncle Pat came. With my money I bought myself, well with Mommy's help, a soft ice cream and yogurt machine. We had mint chocolate chip ice cream on the weekend, it was really yummy.

This is my last week of school and then I'm off for two weeks for Christmas break, I really hope it snows. Mommy is starting her bking this week so I can't wait to get home from school everyday to see what she has baked.

Hello,

Mommy and I are so-o-o excited, it snowed last night. I wanted to go out and drive around in the snow with Mommy in her truck but she said that I can enjoy it by helping her shovel instead. Mommy's funny like that sometimes. :) It took poor Daddy over two hours to get home in the snow last night, he said there were accidents everywhere. This morning I can't wait to play in it today.

Christmas will be here soon and the house is all decorated. I helped Mommy decorate the tree and I think it looks very pretty. Uncle Paul, Auntie Dulce and the girls can't come this year, Mommy said Uncle Paul has to stay close to the base. We're all going to miss them very much. Last year was so perfect, Mommy was so happy to have her big brother here for Christmas. But Mommy said we'll try to get together shortly after Christmas.

This saturday is my 10th birthday party and I can't wait to see everyone. There are 20 people coming and Mommy is having it catered, just like Daddy did for her 40th in August. I'll put up some pictures after the weekend, of my party.

I haven't written for a while because I was sick for a week and now Mommy is sick too. Today was my first day back to school and Mommy say she'll be fine in a day or two.

Today I had a dentist appointment with Dr. Vito. I don't really like going to the Dentist but Mommy says that I have to so my teeth can be nice and healthy. So I got to sleep in and only went to school this afternoon after the visit.
Tonight Daddy is home from Ottawa so I'll be very happy to see him.

Mommy and I have been really busy with my great Aunt's visit so we haven't written for a while. We had such a wonderful time with her, I really liked her. She was very nice, she baked cakes and yummy dinners too. Then we had my cousin Andrea's baptism and everyone here for Thanksgiving, 26 people.
It's been a great month.

I went on a school trip today to the Tim Horton Foundation's Onondaga Farms. It was a nice day, we had a good time.

Poor Mommy is getting pretty excited, and nervous. Her Auntie will be arriving tonight in Toronto and she's picking her up. The house is spotless and everything looks perfect, Mommy can't wait to see her. I'm going to be in bed by the time they get home so I'll meet her tomorrow.

Yesterday was our last time in the pool for this year. It was a nice warm day, Mommy and I went in but Daddy said it was too cold. Even Uncle Boo jumped in...and out.

Well not much to write about. Been back to school for two weeks now, it's all going well. We are anxiously awaiting my great auntie's arrival. Mommy has been in a cleaning frenzy and Daddy has been fixing all of the little things that have been sitting on his "Honey Do" list. Now Mommy is making him do them all. I have to keep my room tidy and Molly is going to the groomers.

Otherwise, it's been raining all week and we haven't been in the pool for two weeks now. I hope it gets a little warmer and we can still swim a little this year before the pool gets closed next weekend.

How cool !!! I just noticed that Mommy's cousin in Hungary left me a message on here. Her name is Erika and she has a little baby girl named Sara. Mommy and I always check Erika's blog and enjoy seeing Sara's baby pictures. She's very cute.

Well my summer vacation ended with Uncle Boo taking Mommy and me out to lunch on Friday, then we all got to spend the whole weekend together. Daddy was off on Monday because of Labour Day.

Today was my first day back to school. I have Mrs. Ackles with me again, Mommy wouldn't let anyone take her away anyway, and Mr. Agro is my teacher again this year. I'm very happy about that, I really like him. I have a new bus driver, his name is Danny, he is very nice.

Mommy spent her first day alone at home, trying to straighten out the appliances that they delivered, the order was screwed up. Then the gas guys that came to connect the gas stove said that there's a gas leak outside at the main gas shut off(whatever that is) so they shut off the gas and we have to wait gor the gas company to fix it. Right now we don't have any hot water, the stove and BBQ are gas too so we have to use the microwave. Mommy isn't too happy. And we won't see Daddy until Saturday evening, he's gone to Nova Scotia for work.

Today I went shopping and out for lunch with Mommy and Auntie Diane. It was a really nice day, it's a little cooler now, but it's much nicer to walk around and explore in.
Mommy is getting pretty sad because I'll be in school in a few days. I'm going to miss her too. But soon my great auntie will be here, and then we'll have Andrea's Christening here over the Thanksgiving weekend. The whole family will be here for that. I can't wait, I haven't seen Uncle Paul, Aunt Dulce and little Amanda since last Christmas and I haven't even met Andrea yet. Mommy says that the house is going to feel incredible with all of our loved ones in it at the same time. And I'm looking forward to the big Christening party, because parties always mean cake.

Daddy was off most of last week and we had a great time. We went to Toronto on Wednesday, than on Thursday and Friday we shopped for new kitchen appliances and a new washer and dryer. Mommy and Daddy picked out all stainless steel ones. The entrance is all finished and the house looks really different.
Then on Sunday we had the annual AS Families picnic. It rained again this year so we had to have it inside and only a few families came. But that was okay, we had a really nice visit with them.
Today I'm helping Mommy do laundry. Daddy is back at work and I really miss him. Oh and it's my last week before school starts. I'm not sure how I feel about that. Mommy says she's really going to miss me, I'm really going to miss her too. But I'm excited about seeing all of my friends.

Well it's almost time to go back to school. I'll be glad to see all of my friends, but I won't be too happy to get up that early every morning.
Mommy and I have been doing some back to school shopping, getting my uniform all ready and buying new shoes. I hope I have Charlene again this year as my bus driver, I've had her ever since I started school. I'm excited about Grade 5, I hope I do well in it.
Oh and soon my great aunt Erika will be here for a visit, we're all pretty excited about that.
Tomorrow we're going on a trip to Toronto with Daddy and Nonna to a jewelry store, I love going to Toronto, there is so much to see. But I think I'm happier living in the country, Toronto is nice to visit though.

Today was a rainy day, so I helped Mommy do some laundry, I sorted the socks. Then we cleaned the house, well Mommy cleaned, I helped tidy up. After that we made some Spezzatino, I helped with the vegetables. (It's an Italian stew)
Now we're wating for Daddy to come home.

Another great weekend, the weather was beautiful. Daddy was painting so Mommy and I stayed out of his way. Did some shopping, some swimming, hung out with Geraldine and Uncle Boo.

Saturday night Mommy had to take Nellie to the emergency vet clinic but everything turned out okay. They gave her some medication for her infection and she's feeling much better today already. I'm very happy, we all love Nellie and Molly very much.

Today B.J. came to visit me in the afternoon. I was so happy to see her, we played some games and she brought me a Franklin movie and some treats too, then we splashed in the pool. We had such a great time together. I just love her so much.

Today was a beautiful day. We spent most 0f it in the pool. I played volleyball in the pool with Daddy, Uncle Boo and Mommy. Then for dinner, Mommy made her famous ribs and Daddy made his yummy chicken wings. They were both really good, and we have lots left over for tomorrow. Tomorrow, Mommy says it's a cleaning day and I have to pick up my all of my toys and stuff. The long weekend is over and it's time to get back to work.

Saturday evening was Mommy's Birthday party. Daddy had it catered and there were about 20 people here. Mommy had a great time, she says whenever her and her Ya-Ya's get together it'a always a hoot. This is a picture of me with Mommy and all of my Aunties except for Auntie Liz and Auntie Dulce. I wish they could have been here. But Auntie Liz lives far away and Auntie Dulce and Uncle Paul just had a baby and live about three hours away.

Then Sunday we spent the whole afternoon in the pool and we're planning on doing the same tomorrow. It's a long weekend so Daddy is off tomorrow.

Today was Mommy's 40th Birthday, it was also the hottest day, 46c with the humidity, on record since 1956. That's funny, you all know how much Mommy hates the heat....Happy Birthday Mommy !!!
Daddy took the day off and we hung out in the pool trying to keep cool, then for dinner Daddy cooked (Swiss Chalet). And Uncle Boo brought Tim's coffee and Mommy her present and we had cake. Mommy's real party is Saturday night when everyone will be here. Daddy is even having it catered !! how exciting. Mommy says that her wish for this decade is to swim in a shark tank with real sharks coming up close. In her twenties she wanted to fly a plane and her and Daddy both did. In her thirties she wanted to jump out of a plane first and then have me, I came along first so she never got to jump out of a plane. But she still got to have me. She says she would never do that now that she's a Mommy. Good thing I came along when I did. Now she wants to swim with sharks. She promised me that it would be very safe for her. Oh boy, why can't Mommy knit or sew like other Mommies !!

It was a quiet weekend, I'm still not feeling 100%. But my seizures are getting less severe. What a tough week I had though. Daddy was away working in Alberta for part of it so Uncle Boo came and helped Mommy take care of me in the evenings and that way she could have a little break too. I love my Uncle Boo, that's him in the picture with me. And then when Daddy came home I felt even better. Mommy says that I'm her little trooper. I kind of gave Mommy a couple of really scarry nights though.

Saturday I spent most of the afternoon in the pool with Daddy, Uncle Boo and Mommy. Sunday, same thing, with Daddy and Mommy. Tried cajun catfish for dinner. It was pretty good.... needed lots of ketchup.
Tomorrow Mommy says we have loads of laundry and lots of cleaning to do. My great Aunt Erika from Hungary will be here in 49 days and we get to visit with her for a whole month but there is a lot of work to do so the house looks perfect. That's my mommy for you!!! As for me...I can't wait, someone else to shower me with hugs and kisses. It's not easy being me!! a kid can never have too much love !!

Sorry I haven't written for a while but I've been pretty sick. Now I'm feeling much better though. Today I get to stay with Darlene and then Auntie Diane because Mommy and Daddy are both in London at an AS Conference with Dr. Jane and Amber and Jessica.
Too bad it's raining, I could have gone swimming with Darlene. But I know my Auntie Diane will find lots of fun things to do inside with me. She's a pre school teacher and really good at doing fun activites. She's single too and looking for a husband. She's very pretty and smart, but Mommy says she's too picky. Mommy says men aren't that complicated. My Auntie should just pick one out and then train him, I guess like we did with Molly and Nellie.

Hello,
Today was a great day !! Daddy had his 6 month check up and the oncologist said that everything is perfect and he has graduated to yearly check ups. I'm so-o-o-o happy. Five years cancer free ...yippee !!
Mommy says that we should be very thankful for all of the wonderful blessings that we have been given, and never forget to thank God every night for them. That's my Mommy and Daddy, they have been together since they were 15 yrs old, they were highschool sweethearts.

What a great weekend !!

Yesterday Uncle Boo , Mommy and I went for a drive down through the fruit belt. We got fresh cherries and plums and apricots and green beans. Then we found Port Dalhousie by accident and went for a little walk there, looked at a big ship. It is such a pretty place, but it was too hot to stay outside for very long. Mommy said we'll go back when we're not in the middle of a heat wave and then we can explore the village a little bit more. I can't wait.

Then in the evening Auntie Carolyn and Uncle Pat came over for a BBQ and a swim and brought everything for dinner, steak, potatoes, salad and a yummy turtle cake. I had such a great time swimming with Auntie Carolyn and splashing Uncle Pat. I just love Auntie Carolyn so much, she always gives me such nice hugs.

Today it was 43c with the humidity, so I just hung out in the pool all day with Mommy and Daddy. It's supposed to be hot like this all week. Thank God for A/C !!!! oh and my pool. I'm such a lucky little kid.

Today BJ came to visit me in the afternoon. I was so-o-o- happy to see her !! Then after she left Mommy and I went swimming, it's very hot today, 38-40c with the humidity.
After dinner, Auntie Diane came to visit me. I haven't see her for a long time and I missed her so much. She brought me TimBits and a new summer outfit, my Auntie Diane spoils me !!

Today Mommy and I went to Kilbride to visit her Aunt and Uncle. It was raining really hard and we had to pull over two times on the Highway because you couldn't see anything. Everyone else did too. When we got there I had fun playing with my great Uncle Les. He always likes to wrestle with me to see how strong I have gotten. Mommy always reminds me to be gentle because he's 91 years old. Anyway, we stayed there for a little while and I had some cherries and cookies. Then we headed back home. It was still raining really hard. But Mommy's new truck got us home nice and safe, on the way there we hit a big puddle on the highway and Mommy said that the truck "planed" for a couple of seconds. It felt kind of cool actually.
Tonight we made pork schnitzel with roasted couscous (tarhonya in hungarian) and lecso, which is like a yellow pepper and tomato with onions and Hungarian paprika stew. It was really yummy. Mommy says that Unlce Boo would have really liked tonight's dinner.

Today Daddy and I went to Nonna's house. We had lots of fun, I played with Nonna and had some cookies. Later when we came home I went swimming with Mommy because Daddy had to go out and do a few things.Then after dinner we drove downtown and watched all of the celebrations because Italy won the World Cup. You should have seen all of the cars with Italian flags driving up and down the main streets, honking, there was even a big dump truck all decorated and a big rig with the flatbed loaded with people carrying flags in the procession. It was fun to watch.

Hello Everyone,
For today's excitement, Mommy and I are waiting for the "Honey Wagon", that's the Septic Tank Cleaner for you city folks. I get to stay inside the house and watch from the window, but poor Mommy has to go out and talk to them and pay them. She usually has to pull her shirt over her nose because the smell is so bad. One of the guys that always comes is really sweet on Mommy too. I'm glad I don't have to go out there. Mommy says it's an awful job, thank God someone is willing to do it. She also says that's why you have to do well in school so you don't end up with a job like that. I'm sold !!
They have two funny signs on their big truck, "You dump, We pump" and the other one says "Call us for a Royal Flush". I guess you need a sense of humor with their job.
P.S. It turns out that Daddy is allergic to Tandoori chicken

Today Mommy and I went to visit nagymama and nagypapa, that's grandma and grandpa in Hungarian. Anyway, we brought them some flowers and walked around in the cemetary for a little while. It was a nice day, not too warm. I like going there, there are lots of nice flowers to see.
Then we came home and I helped Mommy fold some laundry and sort some socks and then I did a little bit of colouring. Now we're waiting for Daddy to come home from work. Mommy made Tandoori chicken with couscous and green beans for dinner.
Oh and I also got a box full of new summer clothes today in the mail from Auntie Dulce and Uncle Paul. Everything is so pretty, Auntie Dulce always knows what kind of clothes I would like. I'm such a lucky kid.

Today Mommy and I are making ribs for Daddy, because he's coming home from Manitoba. I helped Mommy mix her "secret mop sauce" for the ribs this morning. Last night we put the "secret rub" on them and wrapped them tight in saran wrap and refrigerated them overnight. Soon we'll put them in the oven and bake them slowly for 6 hours. Mommy's ribs are really good! almost as good as Uncle Paul's...lol.
This afternoon Laura and Grandma Marie are coming to visit. But right now we have to go and mail my cousin Amanda's birthday present so she gets it in time. She's going to be TWO years old. I just love her. Oh and I have a brand new little cousin too, Andrea. I haven't met her yet but Mommy says she's cute as a button.

Well I was right. I got to play with Geraldine for a little while today but then I had to come home and work on my summer homework, and also had therapy with Amber tonight.
Daddy is in Manitoba so it's just Mommy and me. Oh yeah and Mommy yanked out my loose tooth. She said if I didn't stop playing with it she would yank it...and she did. Have to be careful with Mommy, she really means business ! Now I'm going to have my fifth grown up tooth soon.

Today was a great day too!! Daddy was still off today so we hung out in the pool all afternoon. Tomorrow he's back to work and I'm sure Mommy is going to make me practise some of the things I learned in school this year. Until then...I'm enjoying our mini holiday with Daddy.

I had such a cool day, we headed down to Port Dalhousie but halfway there it started pouring rain. So we just ended up going for a drive instead. But I watched a couple of movies in the car so I had a great time, well until Mommy had to take this picture and her flash blinded me !!
Then we had a B.B.Q and Mommy made me my favourite...smashed potatoes, after that we went to Burlington for an ice cream cone, I had oreo cookie...yummy.

It was a great day.

Today is going to be a great day, it started off with homemade banana pecan pancakes (Mommy got the idea from Uncle Paul and Aunt Dulce), I even helped squish the bananas. Then Mommy said that Daddy is taking the rest of the day off, after a morning meeting, to spend with me. I'm so excited.

So here I am, with my Mommy and the dogs on my first official day of summer break. My morning started off with a good scrubdown, or as Mom calls it...a bath.

Then we got dressed and got ready to go shopping, so far so good. I got a really cool new purple faux fur comforter for my bed...I just love snuggling with it. Don't tell Mommy, but I can be a prissy little princess sometimes !!

We came home and had lunch on the deck, and after a while we went for a swim. Now I'm just catching up on a little Treehouse Tv and then I think I might have a little snooze. It's hard work keeping Mommy this busy. Oh and we baked an apple pie too.
